Observations 2008-2009 Hunting Season

1. No matter how good you think your going to do on the first day of a 5 day trip, surprise your wife and sleep in late that morning, go to your kids basketball game and take everyone out to eat lunch. You will be amazed at how glad they are to see you when you get home.

2. Take a kid hunting

3. If you think someone is a jerk, don't go hunting with them, it only multiplies in the duck blind. Why waste your time?

4. Always take your dog, always......

5. If a guest showes up with their dog and they are scared to let it run to the blind, make them leave their dog. It might hurt their feelings but it will be worth it in the long run.

6. If your guest dog decideds to run away instead of retrieveing the duck, shoot the dog. It will save everyone a headache....

7. If that guest showes back up the next weekend, pitch a holy sh1t fit when he lets his dog out, reality is the dog enjoied being chased around the bottom for 6 hours, and can't wait to do it again.

8. Take a camera. it is not every day when a blue bird decides to take a nap in the hood of your Columbia parka hangin on the front of the blind.

9. Take a camera, it is not everyday when a Hawk decides to attempt to make a meal out of a decoy, twice.
