Como Steakhouse--Inlaws live in Batesville so we celebrate birthdays there.

Shapley's--Had our rehearsal dinner there and couldn't have been more satisfied with the food or service.

Everyone has places from Nashville on here, eaten at many of them and can't remember a bad piece of meat, Ruth Chris's was esp good tho.

Doe's Eat place in Greenville, MS. Not the best part of town, but definantly worth risking your life for.

Papas Bros. in Houston, best I've ever had. Voted best steak in Texas. If it's #1 in TX, it's bound to be good. Dickie Brennan's down in the Big Easy is probably my 2nd favorite.

I've tried several of the big names...Ruth's is hit or miss and Morton's just isn't that good. Anyone ever tried Smith & Wollensky's? I plan to check it out on my next trip to Houston.

I saw that someone listed Doe's on here....it was bound to happen. I'm not sold on this one, didn't care for the one in S-Ville. I'm sure as hell not sold on it if I have to go to Greenville to try it. After getting all of my chit stolen there one night, I don't think I'll ever go back. Dirtiest place I've ever been....can't imagine a world class steakhouse coming out of that chit hole. And not to mention that my friends and I decided that if any of were to sustain an injury, we'd flip a coin to see who would put the injured one out of their misery (this was after driving past Delta Regional Hospital). I must've just been in the wrong part of town, but drove all over looking for the right part and couldn't find it. Just my .02.

Im from Greenville and these days you want find a good part of town. When I was growing up it was a great place to live. I do have t agree that Doe's is one of the best steaks around. Tico's is probably my favorite steak in the Jackson area.

I know what ya mean. I'm from Moss Point. Pascagoula is the same way...used to be nice once upon a time. Seems like lots of places are changing for the worse in MS. Same old story...reggins.

Charlie's steak house in new orleans before Katrina. You never sat in that place where you couldn't see who was coming in the door, but damn it was a great steak and it wasn't a tourist place it was just the best.

Folks Folly Memphis

Ruth Chris Anywhere

Keith Young's steakhouse Madisonville
