If your so immature that you want to challange me to a fistfight, for disagreeing with a post on the internet, you need some professional help. Or some time away.

I really don't know, nor care, what you are talking about. Alan is my friend. So are virtually ever other member of this board. I thought you were as well. No one takes more jabs than I do around here, other than GH22. You really want to talk about it, you got my number.

My dog would rather have a brick than the ATBs. He hates those hard slippery POS bumpers. He will fetch them, but he don't like it. Just Max's opinion. At the MS Duck Challenge, a lot of good dogs dropped those hard slippery ATB bumpers numerous times on the return.

I have both. I love the ATB's for water work or throwing the black and whites at distances over 300. I hate dokkens because of the smell after they are wet. My dogs will pick all of them up. At this time of the year ducks don't last out in the field so I switch to using ATB's about 4 out of 5 days. If you want to get either dokkens or ATB's scented just put them in a plastic bag with a dead duck and put it in the ground for a few days.

Dokkens smell like cat pee. When I use one of the 2, its the atb. I threw away every dokken I ever owned, because of the cat pee smell. travis

Travis turned me on to the flagmans. Black and white with flags - they and are much better than simulated birds for marks. Never tried any but the ATB flasher looks like they woould work well for long marks and hold very little sent, which is a good thing at times when running training marks. I had several dokkens and can't tell you the last time I used one.......and they do take up a cat piss smell.

for me, and as strange as i know it sounds, it's a safety issue.......those dokken heads are frickin hard and i got an ole boy missing a bottom tooth due to them..................NEVER AGAIN.

gauge ain't never even seen an ATB and the only time trapper did, he dropped it a time or 2.......go figure. either way, FF and Hold ain't a problem..................don't believe me??? hold on to a bumper and say fetch to either..............then call an orthotics supplier to get you a new arm

that's a joke by the way.................just illustrating how we're comfortable w/ our "force fetchedness"

anyhow, i'll save my coin and buy my bumpers w/ streamers or pay about the same and get some fliers, thanky kindly.

Gator,

I think you will like the new ez bird. I got to see them in tunica and I am excited to try them. Big difference between them and the original atb (which my dogs love after I introduced them to it). I talked to JT about it for a while, I ALWAYS cut the heads off of dokken's/ATB's in the past. After feeling the new head on them I won't have to do that any longer. Everyone has their own opinions about stuff but I would suggest you try the new ez bird and see if it doesn't change your mind a little.
