Dang I hope Jerry did not sell out. I had many a good time down there watching my buddies try and pick up the girls tending bar and us shooting pool. That is much to cool of a place to end up private. It was like an institution. Dent's is the same way. I thank God I did not buy the trailer I was looking at 2 years ago. That joker was on stilts. How bad would that have sucked to move that?

I understand people should be able to buy and selll what they can. This is America. What sucks is those places are unique to MS and that area. It is a shame to lose them so one person can have them for his own. I do know this. Please let the place flood and him come asking the no account taxpayer to bail him out.It will happen. JT& Dave have nothing on the Duck South Crew. Place was filling up with those jumping fish anyway. But it was still the funniest place to go fish for 3 days with your buds in MS.

Like I said was just told this this afternoon. Not 100% sure on this yet. Gonna call Jerry myself first thing in the morning.

Chotard landing has NOT sold as of today! There has been a good offer made on it though!

tell whomever is making offers that I will sell him that part of the mississippi river if the price is right. Im thinking about getting a propane cannon, buying some land right next to tara/willowpoint and going to town.

A bunch of ways!!!! You ever seen the bottom of that ditch? Did you know there is a rock dike in it? Also do you know the ditch has moved all the way over into the stumps on the west side? It changes just about from year to year. Depends on how fast the water falls out of it. Some years you can go into it way lower than others.

I thought you meant there was talk about limiting access by them not the river stages etc limiting entry
