Did you get your lease money back? Sounds like you need to go in there and if it is brown it is down.

"@#$%#" it, if the club was buyin the place i would be agianst wackage and stackage but since one "turd-cutter" that already owns to much land is the buyer i do believe it to be necessary. I would go over ther and mow the "@#$%#" down. Donate the meat to the hungry. I can tell u this thou, . . . i am slowly building up a downpayment to put toward an LLC on the river. Almost all clubs in my neck of the woods have gone to this format, and the memberships are continually appreciating. I figure i'll buy one in the next few years and lock the place in while i can vs. humming dixie 20 years from now. Think of it as an investment in the future. Once u buy in, timbercompany cant send u a 30 day notice.my .02 cents

So, just how much land is "to much" for one guy to own, and who gets to decide what the maximum # of acres is?

He's referring to the guy who owns over 120,000 acres and doesn't hunt it nor let's anyone hunt it. Yeah, he has a right to do it.

That's unbelievable; sorry to hear it. That's not the way IP used to operate. Was it IP or RMS Land Sales? What county was the lease in?
