The Grisanti's are still the king of Italian in Memphis... Yes, the same Mr. B's in New Orleans. They are in Germantown at Poplar and Kirby. Crescent City is just as good, if not better.

My wife and I went to the Crescent City near Rigeway and I got an Oyster Poboy that was INEDIBLE... I forgot what she got, but we both got the impression that everything they served came straight out of a TV dinner box.
Did I go to the wrong place?

If you like sushi there's usually a pretty big selection walking up and down Lamar. I can't say how fresh the fish is though.

Not sure. I know the manager at the one in Southaven, and she has recently moved to the restaurant in Collierville. We have had them cater several functions, in addition to eating often at their Southaven location. Blackened catfish, all of their shrimp dishes, the grits & cheese... even their instant heart-attack chocolate pie was awesome

I got conned into eating at the one on Goodman road one time. The crowd of 75 -80 yr old people looked at me like I had lobsters growing out of my ears. I felt like I had invaded a secret meeting of AARP. Heck, I though they were gonna beat me with their umbrellas and canes and throw me out.
