Pee Wee-

Look at a calendar. We beat USM last year. The game you refer to is the one from 2000.

Funny how anti-Alabama folks are always quick to point out one of the few times Alabama actually lost to someone. Of course when you are from Mississippi, it is expected to lose to the first tier schools.

You can take your foot out of your mouth now. You are doing a very good job answering why Ole Piss and M$U won't play USM. Bama plays them every year...afterall, we aren't scared of anyone.

Still waiting...

Let's just go ahead and get this all out in the open!!!!!!!!

ALL SEC UNIVERSITIES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF VANDY, PAY THEIR PLAYERS SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNTS OF MONEY TO PLAY SPORTS!!!

Now we all know it, just matters if the universities can keep their players' mouths shut.

Agreed. And it's actually boosters rather than the University itself.

In Bamas case, the NCAA was out to get Logan Young, and rightfully so.

It's just a shame that the previous coaching staff was "blind" to the fact.

Any way you cut it, it's the current players that suffer the consequences of an idiotic greedy old drunk.

I may run my mouth about Bama, but truthfully, I don't want any team from the SEC on probation.

Eliminate the slime ball boosters and tee it up!

Your not scared of anyone? How bout the NCAA investagators. They scare me more than USM, Bama, or the other Ms. school. Five of the twelve SEC teams could be on probation next season. Vandy could be a front runner to win the SEC next season by default. :!:

Mallardbuster,
Don't get all upset. I know that State had a HORRIBLE season last year, but we still beat ya'll! What about big Eli's stats so far this year? Uh, our freshman QB matched Eli's stats and Fant threw better that Eli. Sure, I know, it's hard for the boy to throw when he's laying on his back. We'll settle this up at Thanksgiving.

Bama people, talk all you want to. It's always funny how the ones who talk the most junk are on probation. They think that if they weren't on probation that they would win the national championship. Fact of the matter is, Bear is gone. Face it. Since he left, you guys are just an average SEC team like everyone else. I don't think your guys would go far anyway this year if they weren't on probation. Be glad that at least you have an excuse why you're not ranked or going to a bowl and hope for better in the future. Another thought to ponder, did you ever question why the producers of Forrest Gump chose Alabama for his home state? Let's face it, the boy wasn't all there!

See ya in Starkvegas!

Once again, you guys are running the Bear thing in the ground. I have yet to say anything about the Bear.

Can you not look at a history book? Alabama won the NC in 1992..long after Bear was gone. We won the SEC 2 years ago.

The only funny thing is the inferiority complex of MS fans!

If you look at SEC Championships and NC's since Bear departed, how many do you see comming from the state of Mississippi?

NONE!

Your point is mute, once again!

Come up with some new material.

Still waiting on why M$U won't play USM....

Starkvegas?!?!? give me a break! That town is a hunk of junk! Do they have anything besides a cow field and a McDonalds?

P.S. You don't think we will do to well this year?

Hmm?

Thats why they play the games.

Auburn will beat M$U by at least a touchdown.

Webbmaster -

I take it that you have not been to Starkville in recent years. In all seriousness, if you had, you weren't paying attention. Starkville is almost twice the size it was 10 yrs ago and offers about as many various national (O'Charleys, TGI Frday's, etc) restaurants as you'll find in Tuscaloosa. Ok, there isn't much in Starkville. With that said......What is heavens name is IN TUSCALOOSA???????? As far as I can tell it's a college town with a couple of puny "malls" and a rib joint outside of town. You have an airport and we have an airport. You have a 4-lane hwy through town and we have a 4-lane hwy through town. You have a river and we have the Tombigbee river about 15 miles away. You have about 22 thousand students and we have about 17 thousand students. I don't see this great difference between the two cities/towns myself.

The reason State doesn't play USM is because they won't give us a "home only" exclusive contract like Bummer gets with them. State has beaten Bama in what... 4 of the last 6, maybe 5 of the last 7 games? I don't see what your argument is about State being envious of Alabama.

The key thing is, with the exception of 1992, Bama fans have to go back a full generation (20 yrs+) to bring up the "storied history" of Alabama football. The fact of the matter is, the rest of the SEC signs a LOT of top players simply because scholarship limitations are now placed on schools. State beat Alabama 1 time in 35-40 yrs yet we've beat you more than ever in our history over the last 10 yrs. Why is that? It's called parady. You might not like the fact that State can at least compete these days but the every year doormats of the SEC are long gone.

Peace.

Yee haw!! Starkville has an O'Charleys!!!

Anyone in their right mind who has been to both knows their is a huge difference. For one, the campus at M$U doesn't hold a jock strap to UofA. M$Us campus looks like a run-down junior college with ugly buildings straight out of the 70's. Traffic light count -- 2.

And as long as we are talking about campus, your stadioum is tee-tee. Thats right, it is a junior college field. And speaking of junior Colleges, is Troy State gonna be too tough for yall this year?

USM won't give yall a home only agreement because we are big boys and M$U is small time. Big Boys play in big stadiums.

And for someone who talks about "living in the past" waht are you referring to with the 5 of last 6 etc???? If you use that logic, we are 6-4 against yall since 92. And I am only using 92 because its an even number (10 - as in one decade) I can't even go back to all time history because it would embarass you!

Besides I never said yall were scared to play Bama, I said you are scared to play USM! Get over it!

And it's not called parity. You just happened to be around for the DuBose era. Nobodys perfect!

I have to go get my dog from the vet, so I will continue this thrashing of your inept points tomorrow.
Until then, happy hunting, and you better spend your energy on thinking of excuses for Auburn whooping you tomorrow.

6-4 since 92....get your facts straight!

These Alabama fellers are kinda sensitive, huh! Just ribbing you boys some; in fact, I have a great deal of respect for Bama and have many friends who played and attended there. But I still ain't gonna cut you any slack...any body who has a big butted pink elephant for a macot is gonna take some shots here and there! :D

Fact is, I hired a young man who played on that '92 championship team, Micky Conn. He's now a head coach here in our school system and doing really well.

By the way, I've always wondered if anyone kills any ducks in the impoundment on the north side of I-20 just as you come out of T-town headed west. It's on the right and the trees have just about grown so you can't see it, but it abutts I-20. I see a blind built in it every year, so someone hunts it.
