My wife works in a school where a family in need was not going to have Christmas. The girl made her teachers Christmas gifts and gave them out. Would break your heart. My wife and girls took all the packages to their rental place this afternoon. She said the mother and father just sat in the floor and cried 'cause they didn't know how they where going to get the kid's Christmas.

Hope my girls learned something from this little trip.

This was the first year that I did this and I guess I went a little overboard but it made me feel good. I got 10 little kids 5 girls and 5 boys. I got the boys some kick booty remote control cars and the girls digital cameras. It is not easy shopping for people that you don't know but I can not think of a girl who does not like to take pictures or a man or child that does not love remote control cars. I hope everyone will consider a child next year man it really makes you feel good.

Other than actually losing a child not being to able to give them a good Christmas would have to be one of the toughest things to deal with. We plan to do more next year. And let me reiterate what a blessing it is to help someone or their family. We actually went spent more than we could afford to helping the two kids, out of eight total, and their mother and it put us in a bind financially. Yesterday some unexpected money, an early paycheck, found us and got us out of a bind. We didn't help hoping to be rewarded but were unexpectedly. It's just amazing how he works sometimes.
