u know what though, im not a msu football fan so im not defending anything they did, no body needs to, but i would like to think that we can find someone to take that cops place, to me, no cop needs to be going to a downtown saturday night sorority party, unless hes in uniform and goin to crack down, to me once again him going there being off duty is just asking for a sitaution...........what if he would have seen a 20 year girl drink, maybe it was even his girlfriend's little sister in the sorority, does anybody really think that he would honestly step in and say something to her

I can see what you're saying JKB, however, i can also see the other side of it....... the cop is over 21, he's off duty and his girlfriend asks him to come to their sorority party. Both sororities involved in the party requested there to be no alcohol, so I really don't see any reason for him to not be there. I could honestly care less what happens with all this, however, cop or not, you would think they would have more sense than to jump somebody twice, the 2nd time after being informed that he was a cop, then when they are told police are on the way, they split. In my opinion, if they were jumping in to help their teammate, they would have hung around to tell the police their side of the story, fleeing the scene never gives a happy picture of what took place...
