first of all the frickin thing about getting arrested for being drunk in a bar is BS, what is the next thing to happen no laughing or smiling, sometimes you just need to unwind, second of all there will be a lot more fights now in starkville because of all the grumpy people that can't smoke in the bar, well the boars head should start making a killing now.

what you mean like every year? It has only been opend 1 year, It may open back up when it gets warm but I doubt it. Though it does seem that every thing in that building goes under to me what about you guys?

yes whatever is open there never does too great in the winter time but it would do great this time of the year especially with the new smoking ban, it was still open when i left in december i did not know that it had closed down

Well I hadn't been there in a while and did not know it was closed until I went to eat at little doey(sp) last week with my sister and we saw that it was closed

well what I meant was thatt there have been 3 businesses open in that same location over the last 4-5 years and all did really well in the summer with the outdoor atmosphere (as well as no smoke). Come the first cold spell in november, they all did a nose dive after that......I think it would be a good idea to just open it up in the summer from mid-april to mid-oct. and be done with it...I really like goin there since it wasn't as smoky as the other options....smae as for the balcony at mugshots....

on another note how bout the ABC's smoking a few select bars around here with the MIPs. They pretty much shut mugshots down there for a while.

yeah they been hitting some of these bars hard lately

You talking about The Pub/Teekie Bar? Heck it closed like a couple of months after I graduated in '03 I believe.

It opened back up as the boar's head last summer GH22.

I liked that place because it wasn't a block from the house, just didn't ever have any drink specials though.

Yeah and it's an outside bar, which doesn't work in the winter.

they may open it back up this spring who knows? I just no its closed for now

That place is perfect for a hit-n-run type deal for spring and summer.
