I wouldn't go so far to say that since I believe 3 of the top 5 college games ever played were played at dudy noble.

The Burke Masters grand slam against Florida Sate has to be in there. Regionals were so much more competitive when there were six teams there. I liked it that way much better. It made for great stories of teams coming through after losing a game. Having to win twice in one day in order to move on is tough. The regional out at Texas A&M that the Bullies pulled out of the hat had a couple of great games as well. MSU vs. Washington was a good. LSU winning the world series with a homer from someone who had not hit one all year was a great one. Doubtful you could call UM-Texas game one of the best ever unless you are just thinking the past season or something.

I didn't call it that...... ESPN and Baseball America both did.... I don't think it was from a game standpoint, more from the crowd atmosphere and the # of viewers at home.

I was at the bullpen when Burke killed that ball, wasn't over 15ft off the ground.

The Wash game was awesome, especially for DuBose coming back on 2 days rest and throwing 7 2/3 inn. That McGruder kid from Wash was killer.

You forgot about the game 7 between state and notre dame, btm of the 12th when Ty hit the hr to right center, plus Donovan coming back on 2 days rest with the bases loaded and no outs in the 8th and shut them down for 2 or 3 innings.

The Aggie regional was great too........down 15-2 to Rice late in the game and won it like 17-15.

Ole Miss number 3 of all time?? What was the attendance like a whole 8 or 9 thousand?? What is that, like 60% of State's capacity?

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

Saw MSU and Bama play a regular season game one afternoon that had 10,000+ watching on. Last year Travis Chapman was there I believe. Anytime you have over 10,000 at an on-campus regular season game speaks highly for your program...................
