with all this talk about recruiting i have not even talked about the class my beloved tide is putting together, mike hsula is showing once again that he can recruit and has put together a good class and we can finally start building up some depth, if they can sign andre smith and peanut whitehead it will be a great class for shula.

If they'd gotten Kentrell Lockett it really woulda helped too
Sorry Joe...I had too...
But Shula really is showing he's gonna be a capable coach, on the field and recruiting....I like Bama, they are my 2nd favorite team, if there is such a thing...

so what is really going on with McPhadden, evidently those reports that said he was doing good with his grades was a big crock of #$@%, so what is really going on

last I heard he said he is gonna finish in summer school and enroll in fall semester at Ole Miss.
Korey Raymond couldn't make it and enrolled at ULL...
McPhadden said that like a couple days ago...what he actually ends up doing, he shall see...[/code]

McPhadden still has some summer school work ( approx 6 hours) to complete successfully before he can become eligible. Right now, he is a ???. I hope he makes it ---we need another big ugly on the OL.
The only weakness I see in this Ole Miss recruiting class is perhaps the OL. We just did not get enough of them. I am certain that Coach O knows this and will try to rectify this problem. The tattered state of things left by Cut on the OL is not a quick fix situation, and IMO, will take a couple of more recruiting years to completely rebuild into an upper echelon type OL. Having a mobile QB and better and more RBs in the stable will help, along with a great OL coach to coach up the returning players. This was not a big year for quality OL recruits in MS and these guys seemed to be in short supply and high demand this year everywhere.
I am certain that Coach O will be scouring the nation between signing day and the fall in search of any quality, late qualifying OLs who could give us immediate help. You never know what gem might fall into our lap.

McPhadden is pretty much gee, bout all I can say at this time.
USC website mod just posted that USC will not officially offer Ashley a scholly, so he's coming to MSU.

He's waiting on his offer from USC....if he doesn't get one he'll sign with State....
Basically, if Keiland Williams doesn't sign with USC then USC will be sending that scholly offer to Ashley and he's a Trojan, otherwise he'll sign with State.
So just wait and see....good thing is all indications are KW is leaning towards USC right now so State might get him by default...
