It is just a D-2 Olt call that is inverted. Inverted feels better to me b/c my hands are a little too big to blow the call if it is not inverted. As far as modifying or cutting it down, you try to make it fit your calling style. It takes a lot of patience. The Olt calls are great but you don't blow them like any other call. I have a couple of RNT calls that I really like, but there sound is much higher pitched. Don't get me wrong you can make them sing, and they sound alot better to the guy standing next to you, but I prefer the Olt.

I am supposed to be heading down there this week. They planted some corn in the rest areas and I wanted to check on it. I'll keep you posted.

Pardon my stupidity but I am not catching on to some underlying joke? I have hunted Grenada Lake many times, all over the lake, and have never been a part of or heard of kills like that.

If that truly is Grenada Lake, I must say I am impressed! I assume this must be somewhere off of the Yalobusha side as opposed to the Skuna River side?

Carver's Point area rings a bell. Not being from that area it's a little fuzzy. I was a weekend warrior during duck season when I was in high school.

Here's a picture off of the Skuna River side one morning.
