Some folks I know that are kin to the mannings sat that cooper was a better athlete than the other two. Athlete not quarterback.

That is not saying much. I don't know if either could run under a 6.0 40

BWWWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

I've heard it all now, Peyton was a WINNER.....and wanted to go somewhere he could WIN............Tennessee.

You're an idiot. Peyton has said publicly and wrote in a book that the most fun he ever had playing football was when he started at QB and Cooper was WR at Newman. When Cooper went to Ole Miss, Peyton planned on following him there so they could hook up at QB and WR some more. Peyton's words, not mine.

greenhead is wrong again. If you would keep up with State "your school" Then you would not be so wrong about Ole Miss all the time. You Closet Rebel

By The Way

That was a good move by Tempelton today.

Croom Gets Extension. They got him now through either 09 or 2010

We gave Croom the contract extension because we know that Ole Miss does everything that State does in an attempt to keep up....we're hoping that Ole Miss will now give an extension to Orgeron  :D

Croom got an extension because he beat Ole Miss once. Never mind that he lost eight games for two years in a row. I don't think I've ever heard of a bar being set that low.

We decided to keep him around a little longer just for his culinary skills.
He makes a mean "Humble Pie".
How's it taste? :P

Beating us once in 4 years for your outstanding 6th win in two seasons, and first over ANYBODY in your own division in 19 games, not exactly humble pie...but if beating us every 4th year to go 3-8 is satisfactory to State fans, then I'll just sit back and laugh at you pittiful little turds every 4 years...

Go ask a Florida fan...

I will admit, being beat by hands down the worst college football team/program in the country does burn

A rebel fan calling a bulldog fan an idiot.....that's a contradiction in turns if you ask me.

As for the extension.......it will actually be through 2011 since he gets an extra yr for each yr that is left on the probation.
