hear ya gekko - everything changes. willy, dave, panic. everything. they are still damn good just different.

the stuff dave records and gets played on the FM is crap. the stuff he plays live is incredible.

everybody sells out. If the allman brothers had not recorded crap like rambling man, you would have not ever heard the greatest songs ever recorded like Jessica, or sweet melissa.

all part of the process, all damn good music

he knows everything.......

he even said so......

Thanks clownboy.

I'm not arguing. Just stating my opinion.

I've been around the Panic block a few times myself so I think I'm entitled to give my thoughts. I've sure as heck given them alot of my money.

one more pass- I wasn't implying I wouldt travel to see them because I don't like larger venues....I just meant they don't really do it for me anymore. Burnt out, as some might say. I'd love to go back in time and see them in a bar or small amptheatre.

And if you are talking places to see them, Oak Mountain has put out some classics. A fan and band favorite for well over a decade.

I'd refer to selling out as putting out singles, making videos, marketing, etc. But thats what most artists strive for.

I enjoyed Dave Matthews before he made it big. Then he got his recording contract with Sony and it the MTV generation ate it up.

Can't get mad at him for that.

At the Tad-pad... I was there in full force, I should have gone to jail that night myself. I saw a dude freak out and go into a seizure on the first row. Almost scared the 'shrooms out of me  (not quite though 8) ).

Well hook a brotha up!!!!

Jam on channel 17 on Sirius plays live Dave Mathews stuff all the time and its still great stuff, heard a Jimi thing live with Warren Haynes yesterday, it was pretty cool.

As for panic's "new guy" it just sounds like they have a rock star in the band now and I still like it. Starten to smell the cornbread bake.....come on and go booger and bring bennyhana with ya it'll be a blast.

won't be the same LAWD!!!!!!

I saw them at the first Bonnaroo and they sang that with Dottie Peoples and her choir on stage... it was pretty sweet. Next, Steve Wimwood came out and did Low Spark with them and then George Mc stepped up and played the hell out of the slide on Stop Breakin' Down. I was shakin' bones...
