I can't beleive you boys are crying over tinted windows. The crap should be outlawed. If your butt was the one walking up to the car you would understand that.

My car is too hot without tint... wah wah wah

Grow some nads boys and stand up for the right things in life and let these little ones blow by.

Nothing pisses me off more than to have one of these fords pull up next to me with spinners on his wheels and all the winows so black they can't even see out of them and the whole time the boom boom from all that rap crap ruining my good country music.

Makes you want to lob a grenade in their window.

My gripe is that this was service van and some yahoo in Vegas decided to put this milky white tint on our rear and rear side windows. I carry a couple grand worth of personell tools and slot machine parts worth several thousand ...including a big box marked MONITOR. I dont have a problem with the law, but, I do believe that bussiness vehicles should have been grandfathered in. They are saying that next year there will be a validation sticker available for such vehicles, but, right now there nothing that can be done...So, if the company puts more tint on my van, they will be able to take that tint off next year, and, put dark stuff back on...sounds like a lot of bs ta me  Y'all have a nice day!

I own a vehicle inspection station here in Shelby. At first tint inspections were going to be voluntary, not all inspection stations had to do tint stickers. Now our legislature just passed that all inspection stations have to do tint stickers.

If you let a tint shop put 35% on your vehicle it will not pass. 52% or higher will pass. Just thought I would let ya'll know before you put the 35% on.

Does the 52% go for all windows and hatches or just the front windows? :?

I have 2 friend's that do inspection's, because of the cost of the equipment and the rebonding cost 1 has quit and the other is thinking about it.I not sure but I think some western states require dark tint.I truly think some of it is officer safty but easy money that's not called tax increse. Also the fellow can clear up the bonding deal but I think my guy said another 50,000 over what he already has.

The state does not require we up our bonds but the state receives 3.00 and the shop gets 2.00. I think a lot of it is a cash cow for the MHP. But I know I wouldn't want to walk up on some of these vehicles at night either.
