Hey hooch I shot a whole box of hevi-steel through my Beretta with no problems and liked them too. But the real deal Hevi shot is the best shell out of my gun. #2: 3" fo geeseses and #6 fo quackers. I am at a loss for words when it comes to describing what these shells do. 8)

Iron grip,

They may shoot in those guns. I was just told when I ordered mine that they wouldn't. I have a SBE so I knew it wasn't a problem shooting them through it. Good to know that they will.

I agree the real deal is HEAVY SHOT. They are just so expensive. These heavy steel are alot better than regular steel but still not as good as HEAVY SHOT.

I use Kent but Heavy Shot is the real deal. I've seen what it will do and have shot it when some was given to me.
It's to much impact for up close shots but that hasn't been much of a problem this year.
Iron Heavy Grip has finished a few of my grippled misses with heavy shot. It will reach out and touch them.

Hevi shot is the best thing in the world.
For you guys shooting #4's and#6's, you are overdoing it. I use 2 3/4" #7 1/2 and an improved cylinder choke for open water shooting. Any duck within 45-50 yards is dead and snows out to 40 yards. 2 3/4" #6's and a mod choke is a snow goose shell out to 60 yards easy (complete pass throughs).

I shot Kent for one season, but they got wet and wouldnt shoot right. So i went back to Drylok 3 in. #4 and have been very pleased with them.

Velcro,
That's what I was wanting to hear! I bought some 2.75's the other day to try out but haven't had the chance to hunt with them yet  But I figured as much about that when I remember back I think about killing geese in the rice fields around Lake Charles with old school steel 2.75's (had to hit them real good with those) but they worked. Now with hevi having the 2.75" shooting 1325fps it has to be deadly. I just wish there was more like a five dollar price difference between them and the 3"
