YEH IT IS REALLY NEAT TO LEARN ABOUT HIM. HE IS THE ONE WHO STARTED BANDING . HE ORIGINALLY BEGAN BANDING THE CANADIAN GOOSE HIMSELF IN KINGSVILLE. CANADA AND NOW IT HAS GOTTEN TO BE PRETTY BIG. THE BANDS ARE ACTUALLY WORTH SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS AND ARE COLLECTORS ITEMS. HIS SON CALLED AND SPOKE WITH ME ON THE PHONE AFTER I SENT MY INFO IN. HIS NAME WAS "CAPT" KIRK MINER. REALLY NICE GUY. MY BAND WAS A SEVEN YEAR OLD MALLARD DRAKE WITH "HAVE FAITH IN GOD" MARK 11:22 ON THE OUTSIDE.

Crackhead ain't gonna give up his REAL name. It is on your list.

I don't see Webfoot's name. I know he is sporting a Jack Miner band on his lanyard.

softcall, I really didn't know that it was so special until a few years ago. I do feel bad now for not calling it in. I have called in lots of them over the years, just didn't know that one was so unusual. I am going to call it in tomorrow. It died on little lake in 1995. There were two greenheads in a wad of about 40 gadwalls. I killed that one with my third shot, it's funny how things like that don't ever leave your mind.
