Still trying to talk the MRS. into going! She says if she doesn't get off until 6:30 and we get there at 7:30 everyone will be leaving and we'll have made a trip for nothing! Can't tell her anything! I even have a baby sitter lined up for my 4 yr old. This is one of the few times everything worked out when we wanted to do something. Ya'll help me explain to her that we won't be the only people there, PLEASE!

Everyone will be there until about 9pm, at which time only us lightweights will leave. Webfoot & Company usually shut the place down.

HAMMER will make a rare public appearance at OVPC on Thursday night, August 26 after his 6:00 tennis match...No autograph requests please but if yall are good I will tell you about the time I snuck a keg into an Ole Miss football game in 1982, pigeoned about 100 good old boys at Ben & Todds in 1983, made enough money to buy Miami while living in the Everglades in 1979 and and as many TGI Fridays and Poets in the 70s stories as you younguns want to hear...Might even tell you about seeing Little Feat live in 1972 if you are really good.

Don't know if I am going to make it or not. I've gotta run up to the delta this afternoon to look at a place and check on a few things and I gotta rip out my kitchen countertops when I get back for the tile man to start on my kitchen. I might be able to drop by for a minute after I get back from the delta, if ya'll are lucky.
