Praying for the Lord to comfort Ronnie's family during this time of loss. I did not have the pleasure to meet him in person, but he seemed like a stand up guy based on how he handled himself on the forum. Ya'll have support that thought with the kind words you have spoken about him.

Love ya, brother, and miss you dearly already.

I'm with gator. I remember when we hid a doll in novacaine's son's blind bag. Makes we wish we had eaten lunch together more frequently. :(

I saw on a facebook post someone made a very fitting description of our friend.

HE WAS GOOD AS GOLD AND HAD A HEART THE SIZE OF THE GREAT OUTDOOR.

That's the way i will always remember him!
He was always dapper in a barbour fowling garment :D :D

So very sad to be reading this tonight. Prayers go out to his family and friends. Glad that I had the pleasure of meeting him and sharing a hunt. RIP Rjohnson

Humbling reminder we aren't promised tomorrow and that some things in life just don't make sense. Only met Ronnie once but as nice a guy you could run in to. Prayers for wife and son, I can't even imagine... but I will say being married to a spouse who lost her mother at a young age in a car wreck, the love and support of family and friends for the next couple of years are going to play a big part in that young mans life, for the rest of his life. My son turns 7 in a month, jut makes me sick to my stomach... I don't know the family but for those that do if there is anything we can do to help let us know.

They don't make them any better than RJ. Love you, brother. One of the many shenanigans we got into over the years.

He brought that little jewel back from his Argentina adventure.
He showed up at camp with it. It was his "Release the Houuuunds" hat...........

Phone was blowing up today. Very sad day indeed. I knew Ronnie from this board but also on the tennis court. Many may not know it but he was a good player and I played with him a many a matches. He was a great guy that would have your back every time. I can't imagine what his family is going through. His family will need our prayers and support. Really makes you rethink your current situations in life and shows you are never guaranteed tomorrow. R.I.P. Ronnie

Every hunt with Ronnie made a great memory.
From taking bets on how long it will take nimrod to completely submerge in knee deep water (while acting a clown) and have to borrow dry clothes from everyone.

I'm not a big mushy fellow, though my body type may represent that phrase, but I hurt today guys. I miss my friend as I know you do too.

Not particularly of Ronnie, but the SOB and Lawdawg sure inspired it.

They don't come any better than RJ. Whether it is debating with folks on this board, dealing with him in personal issues or business issues, he was a great father, husband, friend, and business partner to many. I was privileged to do business with him, share a range with him and his wife, and share the field and social events with him on several accounts. He really will be missed by many.
