My main problem with Freeze is that he seems to use religion to promote himself and I do not agree with that.
Well hell bells, we can't have a head coach of an SEC football team publicly professing his Christian faith. Everyone knows that football itself is the religion of the South. I'm on it (on behalf of the Network). I just emailed your complaint to Hugh Freeze with a request for immediate action, noting that "mshunter77" on Ducksouth had a problem with his public displays of religion and spirituality. As soon as I hear back from him, I will let you know. Should be any day now.

I really don't care what he has to say about me as he does not care what I say. There is a difference between publicly professing your faith and using religion as a platform to sell yourself. Of course a fine outstanding man like him that would give a scholarship to a nobody recruit that happened to be Tunsils brother, or hire the brother of the number 1 QB recruit, or constantly let two brothers get away with all kinds drug use and fighting would never use religion as a platform to promote himself.

I personally applaud Coach Freeze for publicly speaking about his faith, no matter what his motives are. I have no issue with him or any other coach trying to recruit troubled players. Obviously the coaches are coaching and recruiting everyday for their job and their first priority is winning. But also I am sure Coach Freeze, Miles, and Saban also have the thoughts that maybe just maybe they can possibly make a difference in some of these young troubled athletes. As far as Freeze not being the person he says he is......I am sure glad that I am not under the same microscope as these coaches cause I am certain people would say the same thing about me. At the end of the day the entire basis of Christianity is the mercy and grace that God gives us through his son. Which means we all are going to fail, most of us every day.
As far as the fluke loss over Arkansas....... you could very easily say it was just the opposite in Tuscaloosa and a fluke win... Just saying.

If motives are irrelevant, Ol Jimmy was just doing the Lord's work.
