Don't we all. Phil's statement afterwards wasn't an apology like the media made it out to be. It was
reaffirmation of his original comments put in a softer tone.

Pray for these guys. They need it right now. Not for the money, but for them to stand strong in
thier faith.

If you guys remember I told you the show wouldn’t last. The man's values are not what the country is moving toward. It is ok for Miley to twerk Santa and everyone goes cool but let a man stand his ground on his personal beliefs and it is against the liberal media's view , you’re gone because the liberal main stream will dog the network until they have to act.

I admire the man for sticking to his guns and look forward to seeing if the family will stand by him. To see if the family will say we agree with him and support him totally. If they do then how will the network respond to that? Will they fold under the pressure to keep the money coming in?

Lot to see coming up and I love that the old redneck from Louisiana says it as he sees it.

Don't you think it is funny how you can say that you don't agree with their life style and be hammered as a bigot yet they have the right to call you names simply because you don't agree with them? Every single show on TV now has those groups on it and it amazes me how that small minority of people can influence an entire county to accept them.

Never cared that much for The Duckmen but I'm liking him a lot more now.

I think A&E is secretly behind him.. Think about it.. They probably said hey go make a controversial statement, let the media blow up, we will "fire you", you get even more attention, then we "hire" you back, and SHAZAM popularity is even higher than it was... Next thing you know there will be a scene of Phil laying a sculling paddle up side some hillbilly's head for trying to take his duck hole from him.

I doubt it. From everything I have seen or read, Phil really doesn't care for the lime light and Willie is more the driving force behind the marketing.. I think Phill is to the point in his life where he is going to do/say what he thinks is right and let God sort out the rest.

I agree with your whole post, I think everyone on here does and I hope everyone stands behind the family, duck hunting differences be damned...

but I think at this point, claiming your were right about the showing "making it" is stretch. It's MADE IT, and made it way bigger than anyone ever could have anticipated or predicted, with at least one more season coming, regardless how this ends...

What if the "straight" men and women boycotted the shows with the queers. Just like the Storage War queers were the first to comment on the statement. We should boycott the other shows as we do not believe or condon this lifestyle. Turn it on the networks. Like someone posted they are only 3% of the population.

Gonna be interesting to see if the rest of the family stands behind Phil on this issue. What is Willie gonna say when asked if he agrees with his dad's statements?

I didn't say They were not going to "make it" They made it years ago with their videos. What I said was that the show would not last and it is now on it's way down. Liberals are not going to allow a hunter/killer to talk about their way of life without dogging the networks into dropping them which is exactly what they did with Phil. His opinions and views on life are totally opposite of liberal america today.

In their eyes he has no right to question their lifestyle. If he does he is a Bigot. Just ask anyone of them.

You can be who you want to be as long as you do not question ANYONE or GROUP on what they do or think.

Phil is a man of conviction and will always say what he thinks. Lets just hope his family has the same backbone to side with him or if they throw him under the bus to save the show and money.
