I've been lucky enough to take two really good birds, not quite as big as yours.

but i would advise you to find a nice place for him on the wall for a full body mount. i reget it so much not mounting mine.

I got my biggest bird mounted a couple years ago (not as big as 3seasons) and although it was a pile of cash, it is my favorite mount.

I would have mounted him if he hadn't plucked a lot of his feathers out when he got to flopping under that limb. Made me sick once I realized how big he was.
He was bald in both sides, would have been a funny looking mount, lol

Take that third turkey to the taxi with the beard and spurs off of the big one. a good taxidermist can fix you up.

i killed one with 1 1/2" spurs, a 12 1/4" beard and 7" beard and just fan mounted it. Be and my brother actually called up 5 and doubled, shot at the same time. big one happend to be on my end.

Same year killed another with 1 3/8" spurs and a 12" beard this as thick as i have ever seen and didn't do anything with it but hand the beard and spurs up.

wish now i would have mounted at least one of them will probaby never kill another one that size.

JD you spoke to soon on this one, lol looks like you got another monster bird. Congrats on a great one. Serious HOOKS

Im going to save the beards and feet and if i get another big one i may use them. just have to see, but i cant see my year getting any better. Its a been a good one and they havent even started gobbling yet. Hopefully i can help some freinds and family get a few birds.

My biggest hope is that i can find some hot jakes or 2yr old birds where i can take my little girl and let her try to get one.

Yeah Jonathan I've been known to get a little worked up on a good duck hunt too, lol Its just something in my blood I guess.
