And besides all that, his antics are just stupid

so their should be a 15 yard unsportsman like conduct penalty as well when it happens on the football field right?davidees wrote:Celebrating is one thing, taunting is another. He should get T'd up every time he puts his thumb on his forehead and taunts the other team/ fans.
Exactly Swamprooter. Great minds think alike. I was just pointing this out to someone after this weekend's madness. Not to take up for MH, but i do not see his antics any worse than what we see on the football field especially on the D side after a big hit on pass break up or a sack
I think the biggest difference in this comparison is the fact that Henderson is a player on the team that talks trash but Mullen is the coach - I can understand the trash-talk coming from a player much more than from the head coach.bigoak wrote:Yep the Rebel fans brag about how their football team plays with class and plays out of love for one another. They have spent the last 4 years bashing Mullen saying he has no class and that is not how they do things in Oxford. They have claimed to be above that kind of behavior. Now that they have the biggest trash talker in the NCAA on their basketball team they have changed their tune. Now talking trash and bringing attention to yourself is called motivating the fan base. Now cursing fans is called giving them what they deserve. Now talking trash about coaches is called getting the last laugh.
The same Rebels that have bashed Mullen and bragged about how they do things with class are now defending Henderson. Go figure.

Mullen made it a point to run his mouth from day one - every chance he could - same with Henderson - only differences are about 20 years and one's a coach, the other is a player.
Cannot and will not defend Mullen. I don't like some of the things Mullen has said and I don't like how he acts and how he pouts when things don't go his way. Don't like how Cohen runs his mouth and the way he curses in front of young children. Could not stand Renardo Sidney or that entire team for that matter. Hated what Banks had to say about Ole Miss before the egg bowl. Then he got toasted in the game and could not back up his big talk. I would still cheer for State if Henderson was on our team but I would not like him. Just don't understand why some Ole Miss fans refuse to admit that Henderson is a clown. Some even go so far as to say they approve of his behavior and make up reasons why it is ok. You can still love Ole Miss and admit that the guy needs to calm his behavior after a win and stop saying crazy stuff in interviews and on twitter.SNOT wrote:I think the biggest difference in this comparison is the fact that Henderson is a player on the team that talks trash but Mullen is the coach - I can understand the trash-talk coming from a player much more than from the head coach.bigoak wrote:Yep the Rebel fans brag about how their football team plays with class and plays out of love for one another. I'm with you----this is what I said on the first page about Henderson:bigoak wrote:Cannot and will not defend Mullen. On a side note....remember when the Florida coach "gator chomped" at Cohen after winning the Super Regional??? Two hot heads about to explode that dayPo Monkey Lounger wrote:So Marshall "gator chomped" back at the "gator chomping" Gator fans. Wow. Sinister. I'll bet no one's ever done that before.![]()

Personally, I couldn't give a squirt of piss for the feelings of the Gator fans.....or those whiny thug Missouri players and their fans .... or those pussified Vandy fans... or those hick Auburn fans .... or any other group of fans feigning outrage over Marshall Henderson. I'm not embarrassed about Marshall's antics on or off the court. So far it's nothing more than what we've seen before from other players. I like his passion, how hard he plays, and the way he plays. That goes a long way with me.
