I believe this is from UFC 4 and that is Keith Hackney fighting Joe Son. Keith would win this fight only to be defeated by Royce Gracie in the finals of UFC 4. Back in the day, the UFC was a tournament style fight, for your youngsters. Eight fighters started the night, only one would be crowned winner at the end of the evening. Oh, and weight had nothing to do with who you would fight.

Yes and I also believe this was the fight where Joe Son carried a GIANT cross like Jesus to the cage from backstage. It was so heavy and so far to carry it, Joe Son gassed out before the fight even started.

Nah, that was Kimo and the only reason why he lost to Royce that night was because Royce grabbing a hold of his ponytail to keep Kimo from posturing up and putting the beat-down on him. Kimo was putting a beating on Royce and started to gas, with Royce on the bottom, and Royce put him in an arm-bar. Royce was so gassed and whooped that he had to forfiet the next fight of the night for him. Kimo came out after Royce did not make it to the ring for his next fight to applause.

Joe Son did it too. He trained with Kimo way back when. That was crazy when Royce tore off Kimo ponytail. Literally tore it off. Kimo shaved his head after that.
