This topic is becoming a guilty habit. I find I can't stop reading or following this rediculous thread. Part of me wants this thread to be shut down and locked, but the other "addicted" part, wants to know how this all ends. My guess is it will be funny for people not directly involved when we hear about the whole thing getting busted by fed game wardens.

Will Mr. Pitts be giving his paid hunters kazoos, whistles or what ever it was you said earlier in this thread that yall use to call the ducks to feeding spots like the pied piper?
If this is for real, this whole thing is a train wreck waiting to happen.

I find this fascinating......just might make a trip with camera and document this experiment.

The best duck hunt ever set out 100# of dynomite, at the feeding are toot the whistle and pick up 3000 ducks, now thats a hunting story.

Can you go old school and shoot a punt gun since they are not migratory?

the questions they are asking are the same ones he is asking, as well as me. i am interested in doing this myself. we are in touch with a local game warden and a employee of Delta Wildlife who are in turn in touch with the Feds. Over the next several weeks he hopes, as well as i do to, that we can answer these questions if nobody on this forum officially knows the answer. When we know the answer, I will post it. I know that 4-wheels have been riding by ducks as well as tractors, trucks and everything else without scaring the ducks off, so I doubt that observation is official. These ducks cannot fly yet. They do swim away from people seen at a distance across the break. That may be why u r seeing new members chime in. it's no secret around here and never has been. I just did not feel at liberty to use the fellows name. Who is doing it is not the issue. Will it work and is it legal. The locals,as well as others from far away who knew about this, have been told that every step of the adventure (and that is what it is to us) is being updated and discussed on this sight. Enjoy.

if this subject is upsetting everyone so much that u would like me to stop posting, i will be glad to do so. what would u like me to do?

Also the posting is not upsetting anyone, it is the same person using the same IP address trying to pretend as though he/she/it is 3 different users/people. That is a violation of the terms of service and is not put up with on this site. It is not difficult to figure that out using the IP address.

that what i told them (ducksouth.com). my mistake. i am a new member as well, mainly looking for guidance. did not know i was stirring up so much controversy.
