When I'm not wearing one of my Filson coats, I use my Filson Waterfowlers Pro Guide Vest...try it. You'll like it.

I have one, and love it. Use it all the time, no matter where I hunt. It helps me "pack down" as I usually carry way to much stuff with me on hunts. I keep my duck strap in the game bag on the back, thermos / cokes in there too, shells in the front, hadn warmers in the lined pockets, random other things in the other pockets.

My shell loops are canvas, there is no elastic on mine anywhere.

I have the Drake version and like it a lot. It's the most helpful on timber hunts or anytime I can't have a blind bag nearby.

Thanks for the input guys! I ordered it and should get it in this week... If I don't like it, it will be for sale on here I assume...

It is canvas. I looked at it closer this afternoon. I havent' had it long and just thought it was elastic. I'm getting old and can't see.

+1 on the Drake vest. I found a neoprene shell holder thing floating at an unnamed public hunting circus spot years ago and it kept me from buying the drake vest. My waders don't and didn't have the D rings to carry the thing so I was always having to pinch the clips onto a chest pocket or zip tie em on to something in the dark. Broke down and bought the vest last year and wish I'd done it when they first came out.

I've got one that's an size XL in MO Break Up that's basically new if anyone wants to buy it. It was given to me and it's too big on me.

I've got a Primos one I like it way better then that one. It has more pockets for you to lose stuff in. They are nice when you hunt alot of wade in holes.
