We have found 2 meth labs on our lease in Monroe county. There's a lot of timber land in that part of the world and big tracts of it. Very secluded areas where a meth head could cook his stuff and not have to worry about being bothered. At least not until deer season. Called the law both times and they sent the men with the little white suits and breathers to look over it. A meth lab is a toxic site.

I've got bad allergies and used to get Sudafed over the counter until the meth heads messed that up. I get a script for it but it's just a pain in the booty now to deal with 'cause some dope head wants to cart off every last box at Wal Mart to make meth.

+ 50-11. I always carry, especially during bow season. I don't believe that you are suppose to have a handgun with you during bow season but I don't care. You never know who you gonna run into in the woods. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I would think a handgun would be okay because there are other seasons open as well.........like Hogs.

Nope, if a deer season is open the only thing you can hunt hogs with are weapons that are legal during that season. So if it's bow then bow only. If it's primitive weapon then only primitive weapon. Regular gun. If you are legal for a bazooka then I guess you could use it. Please note the sarcasm in that last statement. Doesn't make sense to me but that's the way I understand it.

I believe this was changed last year. Now you can hunt hogs year round, day or night, with no restrictions on weapon.
