need some Memphis advice

Flight is a very good place to get some grub. The Peabody is gonna be full of folks. They throw a nice New Year's Eve party too.

Well guys...the night was a near bust. The restaurant was waaaay overbooked and our entrees didn't arrive for 2.5 hours. Yes, you read right two and a half hours. All for the princely sum of 170 bucks per couple. Then the Peabody party only had 3000 people there with three bars to serve them...stood in line for an hour and a half for drinks and finally gave up and left without even getting a drink. We left there and paid another 10 bucks a head to get in a small bar w/ a band and a table where we brought in the new year...got there at eleven and stayed til two. Happy New Year!
