Hunt it. "Appreciate the use of your decoys & blind. Feel free to join me."

I'd say have a polite discussion with them and maybe you can all hunt together or maybe they'll leave. If they're dicks about it and leave their stuff there after they hunt that morning then go back and drop a big, nasty deuce in the blind and sink all their decoys. But seriously, if they're doing this in a spot where it's not allowed then you may not get to hunt it that morning but the proper authorities need to be aware of the situation. My guess is they think their chit don't stink.
Plainsman - have you ever hunted at White River in Arkansas? From your description of what you would do to them, sounds like you have!

Where I hunt nobody in there right mind would ever leave there decoys over night. They would be considered donated or abandoned guarantee they would not be there in the morning.but if you were there first its your hole

I can remember about 5 years or so ago, we stumbled across a decoy bag and a dove stool in some sawgrass next to a hole we were hunting. We picked up the dove stool and it was loaded to the brim with shells(so we thought). Buddy decided to see what shells they were shooting, opens the top, and immediately starts throwing up. So. We are asking what was in it. All he can say for first 5 min or so is "Ralph" and shotgun shells. So I walk over to look, low and behold, a bucket full of steelshot and a 5lb turd topping em off. I left the decoys and stool there thinking of the poor sob that left em there had a nice surprise waiting for him before daylight the next time he showed up. :o

Steal (or relocate to a place were they cant find thier decoy bags and call it a good day. Set up just far enough away so you can watch them try to get all thier dekes out.... LOL
Me and a buddy were at a WMA last year and accidentally setup in someone else's unit (first time to hunt WMA). Some guys rolled in and they weren't sure where the line was either. After some discussion, we concluded that me and my buddy were setting up in their spot. They let us hunt with em, and we made some new friends.

First off, I'm with farmer. Reserving a spot by leaving all your gear is lazy and classless.

But I'd hang out and see who shows up.
in my opinion thats a good approach. if you get there spot or they get yours..whatever.. if you know there's ducks.. join up and kill birds. i know you can't "reserve" a spot on public land and some of yalls " what i'd do" comments kill me. surely some are kidding and were raised with a little more respect for other hunters than that. maybe this is why public land is so dramatic at times :D

To me personally, selfish acts like reserving holes with equipment is the ultimate slap in the face. That is disrespectful. No way I respect someone that does that, much less try to be diplomatic. I'm here to hunt not have circle jerks.

I can see in Smokes case where they were on a draw, that they took proper steps. We're talking about someone leaving decoys in a public hole where the rules strictly state not to do so. They ain't getting an ounce of my respect. We've done it before and will do it again. I'm not going to vandalize or damage someone's equipment, but it is going to the side. If anything, it sucks having to pick up after someone else's lazy booty so I can put my spread out.
