D@mn that sounds awesome...who the h3ll would think to fry a d@mn pork loin!!! But then again there's fried oreos, twinkies, candy bars....guess you can fry about anything. I'm gonna hafta try frying a backstrap this year, as soon as I get one that is.

Tuel - 20 minutes per pound? Seriously? That's WAY too long. I've been doing about 10 for friends and family every year for the last 10 years. I've always cooked mine at 325 for 3 minutes per pound plus 5 minutes. I can't imagine how burned they would be if you cooked them for 3 hours.

i must be on crack. thanks for correcting me
325 at 4 mins a pound.
I know a bunch of people that do it 350 and 3 mins/lb

Did one injected with Louisiana hot sauce today. Had great flavor bit didn't totally light you up. Even the women folk enjoyed it.
