PRECISELY. One should know they weren't ghetto nigs. They wouldn't record that stuff. It's some tube sock wearin', black fingernailed, I am not sure if I want to try penis, I tuck my pecker tween my legs, emo actin' suburban white kid who needs a shot of real world straight to the vein. I'm sure he downloaded a hot new app just for this occasion.levi127 wrote:This school is probably 75-80% white kids.

WTF is an "emo"???
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
Re: Memphis high school coach fired locker room rant
Looks like several of you lack judgment and creativity......it not a fact of life. For those who say 'this is just sports', I say, grow up. I know a coach (coached for 32 yrs) who could motivate any high school team and has multiple playoff wins and state championships to prove it without profanity at all. I have had several men who played for him in High School come up to me and tell me how they admired my father-in-law for his example and leadership and they all mention one thing, 'he never cussed us'..............Say what you want, but it just shows how uneducated this coach truly is.................

Pussification of America.
They’re not going to be happy until we are all “Metro sexual”. You think I’m kidding but I believe the next big push is going to be to make everyone gender neutral.

I think it's short for EMOtional...like hipster kids in touch with their deeper emotions or something....but I'm not really sure that's exactly right. They are the weird ones that end up starving themselves and cutting themselves and that sort of thing...honestly find it really hard to imagine a real EMO kid on a football team, more likely to be writing poetry while riding a skateboard or something. Just spoiled rich kids that get everything their way via momma and daddy money...Dutch Dog wrote:WTF is an "emo"???
Re: Memphis high school coach fired locker room rant
Coach Abel was head coach of the freshmen team in '99 when I was a freshmen. We went 9-2 that year losing those 2 games by a total of 2 points. Did he fly off like this then? Yes, I've got a few stories, but he never yelled at anybody that didn't deserve it. It always served a purpose and there was always a reason.
He moved up with my class as an assistant on the varsity team coaching LBs and TEs. He was probably was one of the most popular coachs on the staff. When out of line he would jump your ass in heart beat, but in the film room he also had an endless supply of one liners.
He's a hell of a good guy who chewed out some kids who'd never been chewed before.
I wish him all the best.

I just listened to it and it was mere child's play compared to my grandfather's "pep talks".
The coach resigned for some reason.

Ok, what if it was a bunch of kids cutting up, smarting off, underage drinking, out past curfew or whatever, and a cop cusses them out and sends em home. I bet half if not all of you would be calling to complain on him or asking for his resignation.

I wouldn't be calling anyone. They deserved it and could have been worst.Wingman wrote:Ok, what if it was a bunch of kids cutting up, smarting off, underage drinking, out past curfew or whatever, and a cop cusses them out and sends em home. you made a comment about public cussing. I agree with u in the situation you explained. Not right. But then again this was in the locker room where coaches and players are only allowed. Things go on in there that stay in there. These kids more then likely deserved it. They have a gold spoon in their mouth and think everyone should respect them and bow down to them BC of their parents.
This was probably a kid that got benched or was the person that cussed all this. Ran and told his parents the coach cusses at them. I'm my eyes if the kid couldn't handle it in high school he should not ever be in another sport from here on out. It will be interesting tobsee who did it. You know they wont keep their mouth shut.
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.
