so, how is the green fairy? is she pretty consistent, or all different depending on production inputs? my sister in san fran talks about the purity of a certain brand that her buddies bring her back from touring (band), but i've never had it or seen it to get....if it is a crap shoot, it is probably best that i don't find it....

Add Absynth to a family holiday get together for a heck of a good time...Granny loved it. There are more clone Absynths out there than real. The kicker is worm wood. A phsycotic that is said to induce visions of green fairys...never had the visions, but have been toe up. The ritual of preparing Absynth for drinking probably adds a little mystique. The fella that left a big blood stain and vanished off a cruise ship was drinking Absynth...bet he was chasing a fairy right over the dang railing. Absynth is not sold in the USA, but, you may find it online for home delivery....not sure of the legalaties of that

Watch out...

The first and last time I had Absynth was in Park City, UT on a ski trip. A buddy that lives out there brought a small bottle to the bar and we were taking pulls off it. He had it mixed with grapefruit juice.

Long story short, I ended up licking a chicks face. Seemed like a great idea at the time, but when she ended up being on my connecting flight home that idea became a harsh reality... :? 8)

Great story now though.

I bought a bottle of Maker's 46 this afternoon. After one small glass all I can say is it is going in the top 3 go to whiskeys. If you're a big fan of Maker's Mark original then you should LOVE this stuff. If you aren't a fan then this stuff will make you one. TOP notch, clean, sweet bourbon.

Chevas Regal 12 Blended, lately. Neat, over rocks or splash of water.

No laughing here. Whatever toots your horn, EW is good whiskey. Only complaint I have is it'll make a fella chit like a tied coon.

I can agree with that comment! Like never before!
