Don't want to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but did they every verify the cause of the crash?

I haven't heard anything other than he had just fininshed spraying a field and was on his way back for another load when it happened.

Yea I heard that fog set in after he was up. Bad deal. A lot of those crop dusters don't have directional instruments to let you know which way is up. He probably lost orientation which is easy to do no matter how much experience you have.

I have never seen an ag plane that did not come fully equipped with all vfr instrumentation. Every plane has a directional gyro, compass, artificial horizon, turn indicator, etc.
That said, it is still easy to become disoriented.

It was obviously foggy but i dont think they have totally ruled the cause. He had a ton of time in an ag plane, super experienced.
