I sealed mine up with spare pieces of plywood on the outside and I also screwed the door shut so there would be no cracks small enough for them to fit through. I had already sealed up every nook and cranny with that great stuff foam on the inside, it's air tight!!! This is just to keep them from building inside, not sure what to do about the outside/underside though, but not too worried about that because I can spray them easily if they're on the outside.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
