Bought a pair this year after my cabelas sprung a leak. I like the waders but my knee stitching is coming loose as well. I am waiting till after season to call them.

Don't get them. Same problem as others with the knees, right boot and crotch leaks. Heavy as he!! too.

I haven't had any problems with the Drakes I bought last year - 'course I haven't been in crotch-deep water much, either. But I figured if I had a problem with them, Drake would honor the warranty. They are a bit heavier and more confining than other waders I've had in the past, but I knew that when I tried them on - 'can't fault anyone else for that - so far, I'm pleased with the waders. I would get some lighter-weight waders if you do a lot of walk-in hunting, but keep in mind - waders aren't 'brush' pants.

Choosing waders is like anything else - you make the best, informed decision and live with or learn from it. 'Can't please everyone.

Glad I'm not the only one having problems at of Drake's. You would think since they value their products(high prices), they would fix this problem. Putting a seam down the middle of the knee is going to bust no matter what. Maybe they will correct this issue soon.

I just bought a pair from Simmon's Sporting Goods in Bastrop, LA for $150. They are a Simmon's Brand called "Mer Rouge" made by Itasca (what Simmon's employee told me) with 1600 gram insulation in the Mossy Oak Duck Blind camo. Used them twice so far and have been pleased. Chris
