I know somepeople can't afford or don't want to fool with leases but man public hunting seems to have gotten to the point that it just isn't worth it. Bad deal regardless of the side of the fence you stand on

Well, it appears to me that even under a "draw system" for public land hunting, there is still controversy.

Thanks guys. This thread will be part of a future exhibit that I will offer before the MDWF&P Commission, if necessary.

Public hunting and WMA BS is the reason I gave up duck hunting. Sure is nice to crappie fish and not listen to bitching about duck holes draws and he said she said crap.

I like the draws...aint perfect, but, I havnt been set up on or shot at one yet...neither has my wife or kid. I saw my dad get shot in the face when I was 11(in the 70's) on an over pressured area. Rules is rules, and, they are there for a reason I reckon. Mainly to help the average Joe or the wildlife. Bashing the MDWFP aint gona help either guys. They have done ALOT of good since the good ol days of our fore fathers killing everything to, or, dang near to, nothingness. Thats what happens to the wildlife when we have no rules or enforcement. Do the research, check it out. Go to the meetings if you want your voice to be heard. My only complaint is that drawn reservation holders should get first pick of the holes...other than that, it is what it is. Im gratefull that these places will be around after Im dead and gone, and, yutes of the future will have a place to take thier wife and kids without getting set up on, or, being shot in the freakin' face by some numb nut that calls himself a duck hunter...y'all have a nice day
