Some friends and I have been talking of the same thing. We have some equipment and good dog. Set the dates.

I can see it now.... about 35 of us in one field with 40,000 rags. we could create our own earthquake when someone said "take 'em"...
we could do some serious damage on the goose population.
Count me in

There are 2 17 year olds that will help and one hasn't ever killed a goose and the other one has only killed two in his life. We will put out decoy's, rags, whatever it takes.

Harley, we killed 25 one day.... They have been using the field just north of the bean field. would be a perfect place for a 'sneak attack' and blast.
The group that was around Marks was only aboue 10,000 birds. hopefully we will get some really big groups moving through soon. If not, we might have to make an Arkansas trip

I know we've been seein' thousands at our place in Louise. Might be able to swing a hunt out there. They come over that place LOW! And bunched up by the hundreds.

Chuckle,
Have you seen them use our lease? I have seen them on the fields to the north and south but not on it.
If they are out there, lets get a few folks togeather and beat them suckas' down.

I haven't seen them land on our place, specifically. They have been using the cut rice field across the road and they have about killed that place. Every morning they come over they are low and well within shootin' range. Marty knocked a few down one mornin' during the season. I think if we drag a spot and put out a couple hundred rags, we could probably bust a few. They demolished a wheat field down the road and then moved across from us to the rice field. The next move for them should be on to our place. If they don't come soon, I bet that rice farmer would be happy for us to bust a few out of his field.

Put a lot of thought into this and decided not to chase these here birds. I'm tired soar and worn to a frazzel not to mention as soon as I told the old lady I was thinking about putting a hunt together for some of the boys on the net she let me know quick that I have had two months and now it's her turn.
So forget I asked.....
If things change I'll let ya know.
