+1000 we need a good ole boy to represent us and get us back on track. He's done a hell of a job with the gulf coast after Katrina. Let's see what he can do with our country.

I'll tell you why. He's a fat redneck (like me) that speaks with a horrible drawl, too it's like he's got half a moon pie stuck in his throat. Regardless of how effective he would be, he's simply not electable. No independents would vote for him, probably no one outside the South for that matter. Obama would cruise to a second term. Now a Rubio/Jindal ticket, for example only, that might be something.

Been voting a straigt Republican ticket since the 70s, don't think that I'm inclined to change.
