unlike queer azzed soccer, we have a review system to make decisions, as sometimes our initial rulings omit situations unforeseen to the ref.
it was taken upstairs and a ruling has been met..........whiskey as an additive (and, even liqueurs so long as alcoholic, but i warn you - thin ice) are cool.........and, get bonus points for creativity.
esjay, nukin' coffee = more concentrated.........points, plus!

FYI, You can always run it through the coffee maker again to freshen it up and heat it up in the process.
Another FYI - don't stupidly drink the 4 day old pot that your buddy claimed to have made earlier but just turned on for a prank. 4 days is the molding point for it too

Dark roast, fresh ground and, preferably, french pressed. Baily's in the afternoon or night.

If one must drink "quickie mart" coffee, the "Kenya King" at the Pilot truck stops is a fine dark brew, and will keep you up for about 3 days per cup, and is guaranteed to instantly, and drastically, accelerate digestion of whatever your last meal was. No matter how high your tolerance for the thick stuff, DO NOT drink the Kenya King and start out on a road trip. You will be stopping VERY soon.

Kenya King? When did Obama get a coffee named after him? Community Between Roast is the way to go.

Nope. French Press is beyond cool. Definitely get big bonus points.
I've got a nice size one. Boil water. Pour into glass beaker. 4.5 spoonfulls of Community. Push the screen filter up and down a few times to mix. Let it seep for a few minutes. Depress screen plunger. This pushes the grounds down to the bottom. Enjoy.
Saying you don't like coffee from a french press is akin to saying you don't like 18yo single barrel bourbon
Just my opinion. Which coincidentally happens to be right.

I don't drink coffee any more, but great post Gator! However, back when I did drink it, it was black! Don't understand all the cream and sugar stuff!

I used to drink mine with a little sugar back when I used to drink it with my granddad when i was small.
Looking back, my parents must have LOVED it when my grandparents fed me coffee and sent me home.
Nothing but straight black and strong these days. Esp with all nighters at school

Agreed. This is a most proper method of preparation. However, I would like to qualilify that the coolness of said method by is entirely dependent upon its technique of execution necessarily by either 1.) a well-trained, submissive female counterpart (preferable) or 2.) the dominant male grindmaster whom shall press decisively using the right hand, and never, NEVER, the left. In the case of the amputee or paraplegic (what often becomes the ill-fated left-hand presser), the right foot may be substituted. If no right hand or foot are present or functional, the forehead shall be used to press with utmost care. If no forehead is present or functional, let's face it--you're up a creek and coffee probably wasn't on your schedule anyway.
Anyway, carry on.
