I'll agree with you, All the Pretty Horses was a good movie. I've never seen the original 3:10 to Yuma, but the remake was worth watching.

Re: 3:10 To Yuma
Thinking about great lines from western movies, there is a great deal of wisdom in westerns, Lonesome Dove in particular.
This morning as my wife and I were getting ready for work she was telling me about a trial she is concerned about today. She is an assistant district attorney and has a drug possession case set for trial today where three men were standing around on a porch when the cops pull up. There is crack and $3,000 laying on the porch. The guy on trial today broke and ran as soon as he saw the cops. The other two have already plead guilty. She is concerned about being able to prove possession against him because he didn't have anything on his person.
I told her you just need to tell the jury what Gus McCrae told Jake Spoon, "You ride with an outlaw, you die with an outlaw. I'm sorry you crossed the line."
With those words of wisdom, she rolled her eyes and walked out the door.

I went by Gator's house last night and he and Gordon were cuddled up watching Broke Back Mountain in their chaps. I never want to be invited to a western night again!

have to laugh your ass off at A mule for Sister Sara (clint eastwood) and No one has mentioned Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid(robert Redford and Paul Newman), and if you talk about Redford you got to talk about the Natural...

Jeremiah Johnson, Outlaw Josey Wales, The Searchers, The Cowboys, Pale Rider, High Plaines Drifter, Lonesome Dove. In that order for me.
If I could put all that on a continous loop I would never watch anything else.

It is a great show. I recently bought the First Season and am hooked, sadly I heard it was canceled after only the third season? That sucks.
On a movie note, Jeremiah Johnson....By far but that's all personal opinion.
