Need some info on Orange Beach?

Have you ever been to amelia island? It's right there near where florida and georgia meet on the atlantic. We're going there next year and hear from several that have been that it's real nice.

Grew up going there. It is nice.

Wind out of the Southeast which is keeping it off La so it is not here yet. With that being said it is only a matter of time if BP does not stop it. Beachs/golfcourses not crowded but fishing has been slow Cobia run about over with some Spanish/Kings on beach. Inshore doing ok on sheephead with some red's, trout and pompano. Snapper season not in yet and with the west closed to fishing I have not heard of any overnighters going out.

No Oil here...the news is whack...tar balls have been washing up at Dauphin Island since my great grandpa was knee high to a grass hopper...the 12 tar balls turned out to be MOSS BALLS, and like 2 of them were tar balls which were completely unrelated to the spill....that was at Dauphin Island anyways, not OB.

Ran the boat all over mobile bay and intercoastal, robinson island, ate at pirates cove...had shrimp....nothings changed except that no one is there because of the "oil"... there are some booms out in case...

Yeah wife booked one for us and her family Aug 9-13... Prob. won't be able to get within 100yds of a beach
