No disrepect to you or anything honestly. Everyone has their own ways of doing things and whatevere works best for you, then take it and run.
Just the look on that dogs face is priceless to me! He just looks embarassed or something.
Seems to be doing you good so keep it up.

that is a look of pure exhaustion - a 9 man limit is a lot for a dog to pickup when it is 12 degrees and there is an inch of ice on the blind.

sometimes it doesnt matter - but when the ducks are finicky - the last thing i want, is it to be my dog's fault that ducks won't commit - so we try to eliminate every possible variable to increase success

A dog of any color that will sit still and be quiet while birds work needs neither camo nor paint. Swivel headed humans with shiney faces flare orders of magnitude more ducks than yellow doggies.
So many ducks, so little time....

Thanks for all the constructive and not so constructive  comments. Most of my places have some grasses, but picked up two new spots this year that are strictly timber; and the mama dog only gave yellas this go around, and I like a yellow anyhow  lol..looking forward to having a new pup around with eager anticipation. Its been kinda quiet around here since my boy passed.
