by chance
Hey Ches....
You can have that "fake" test run on Feb. 13 in Como, Miss. Southern Flight HRC is having a training day and everyone is invited, encouraged, to attend. We will be using ducks so you should be able to get the full experience of a started test. Both of the started judges for the West Miss. hunt test should be in attendance. That is if Doc and Nash can tear himself away from whatever he is not doing that day.

You can't register your dog online with UKC, only AKC has this service. You can mail in a COPY of your points receipts (if you pass) with your paperwork within 60 days and they will apply the points.

It will cost an extra $3 ~ 5 to enter without the R number. I had to run West Mississippi and Bay Area's fall test that way while waiting on litter registration paperwork. Got my started certificate in the mail before I got the registration paperwork.

There is also an additional charge of $5 for all non-HRC participants starting at the seasoned level. No charge for started.

Ches, I am in Southaven but there is a training day in Sardis on Feb 13th that Southern Flight is putting on. I am not sure of all the details but they are or will be on here. As far as training I am in Southaven, If your needing some one in the Starkville area get in touch with Clark Kennington (trykon). PM me your info and I will make sure you can get in touch with him. He is a hard guy to track down during duck season.

Got my akc papers scanned and ready to send in for ukc. I discovered you cant do it on the website but you can email them the information for about the same turn around time..plus $10. We've been training everyday but of course around here that limits the ability to shoot over him and also I can only throw a frozen so far. Im gonna try to find CC at West since he is a chessie expert and get some info on force fetching so we can start on FTP, handling and blinds and so on for seasoned tests. Right now we are just hammering his marking abilities and OB everyday for these started passes. Look forward to seeing yall there...o and grenadas not far from me so I will do my best to get there...$$ permitting since Im still working on a dang education

I'll have my Chessy runnin' in Started.

Took him to the camp and he just about ate everyone up. As long as I was around, he would sit all nice and kind. If I were to leave his line of sight, ANYONE that got near his crate was a target!
