I wish someone would help me out here with the posting the picture. Would love to bust some peoples bubble. The file is to big to download on here and I don't know how to make it smaller.

Never seen bands like that. It's hard to tell but they aren't circular, are they? They look like they have a tab on em.

looks like the tabs were crimped like that to make a regular band fit more securely

I'd never seen a band that looked that way either. My friend called the other band in but the guy wouldn't tell him any information said it would be mailed to him. I talked to a lady when i called mine in and she gave the information. So i guess we will just have to wait til the info comes in mail.
The other guy hunting with me has killed two wood duck bands before and they were the cylinder shaped ones like all other bands you see. Not sure why these were different

pictures almost always make everything fall silent....haha except in DIBs case poor guy

are there fingers at the end of the tabs that overlap to keep it closed?

yes one end overlaps the other and is crimped down to keep it closed
