I bought some GHG magnums the first year they came out, and they are still in good shape. I have lost a couple of keels over the years, but they now have the real keel and the dozen I bought at the end of last season seem to be fine. They are all gonna get paint knocked off if they are plastic. I thing to cut cost alot of decoy co. have started using cheaper paint. Like was said about the G&H there quality has gone down.

If you have any complaints about G&H decoys, give Billy (sales) or Stoney (production) a call. They'll address your concerns and appreciate the feed-back (positive or negative).

Companies that care about the quality of their products and customer relations rely on customer feedback to insure a consistently high standard of quality. Every company experiences occassional glitches. The ones that really take it seriously will do whatever it takes to satisfy their customers' concerns. That's how they remain in business. G&H has been in the business (that I know of) for more than 50 years.

Higdon replaced a whole dozen stackable 'feeder' style shells because the paint came-off of ONE side of ONE decoy out of a dozen I bought when they first came-out. This is not unusual for a company to do this to ensure customer confidence, not only in their products, but in the support and service they provide for the folks that place their trust in the product.

I would be surprised if G&H didn't honor any reasonable request. But I would still buy their products becasue of the relationship I've established with them over the last 40 years.

I can't say that about Browning Arms. I have remained true to one thing since my last dealing with JJ Hambllin 6 years ago when I vowed........"I will never buy another new, current production Browning firearm." As far as I'm concerned, they don't have a customer service department. Therefore, they might as well not even provide a warranty. My loyalty over the past 30 years means nothing.
