This is good advice. One thing to add, get spuds put in, makes hunting out of it a lot safer and easier.

Pirogue atv rack...yada,yada.... :roll:

14' pirogue built in '70s outa 14'x1/4" marine plywood(cut out the bottom and 2 sides) , 1x2" routed out top rails, compound mitre ends, 1x8" seats (wouldn't have one witout seats), nailed with sheet rock nails and painted with latex house paint. Lasted years/2 marriages... Fiberglassed the bottom and broke it in half in a truck wreck....'86 :( Bought the one now in Bush, La. $100, '89.
Really don't remember not having one... :wink: Fished outa'em more than hunted, fo sho...
