Hey, I'm the wrong person getting credit for this. I just took off early from work and spent 30 minutes taking a few pictures. Hammer made this come alive and wouldn't let it die. Lots of folks donated money, toys, clothes, a bicycle, and food. Congratulations are in order for Richard B. Evers who took the collected money and did all the shopping, rented a Santa Claus, suit, and brought his whole family to make this happen. There's a lot of credit to go around, but i look at this as a MS Ducks good deed for a soldier that couldn't be home with his kids.

Sorry its been a while since I've been with internet access. We've been at the hunting camp. I would like to thank EACH and EVERYONE that donated and supported this cause. Nate's wife was there with the baby girl and everything went fine. She and the grandmother was really appreciative. The son was soooo excited. What you didn't see was we wrapped some other presents in different paper and left them for the grandmother to put out from "Santa" on Christmas morning. She called yesterday and said that Hayden absolutely loved the Nintendo DS and games that Santa left for him. She said that he hasn't put it down since. She again wanted to say thank you for all of the support from all the duck hunters. I could hear the emotions in her voice. This was the highlight of my family's Christmas. God definitely smiled down on everyone that was involved. Again from Lynn and myself, we would like to thank you all again.

May each and everyone of you have a blessed and Happy New Year!!!

It's been a very long time since I've witnessed anything as genuinely selfless as this. Nice job to all involved! It's a shame we don't see more of this kind of giving, and I'm dissappointed in myself for not contributing as well. I will next time!!
Again, thank you all who were involved in this for restoring a bit of my faith in humanity.
