She asperated last night. Her heart never stopped beating, but she did quit breathing. The ventilator is running at 60% right now, so she is breathing on her own somewhat.She was supposed to have a new feeding tube put in monday, but I don't see that happening now. The lack of the tube led to this, which I told them would happen when they took the tube out a few months ago.

Aspiration can be hard to treat and hard to overcome. Not to be a wet blanket but that is just the way it is. You can still get a feeding tube on the vent. Good luck and call if u need something.
