no black duck that i know about, but our summer mallard looks so close that i could have killed one and not known it

as far as mounting a ruddy... i guess the only way to get a fully plummed drake.. one suitable for the wall... would be to shoot one out of season... all the ones i've ever shot look like me bowel excriements after a pitstop at ling ling's...

i got'm all but the ruddy, and the Can, only oportunity on a can was the year the season was closed on them, had a large group commit into my spread, i called red heads hope'n my GW friend that was hunting with me that afternoon would shoot first, but he knew what they were too, so it was a no shoot. back in the 90's we had an extreme amount of black ducks in the area i was hunting, so i have been fortunate enough to have killed more than my share of those. Never even seen a ruddy duck that i am aware of
